More shots of the last group this time on a small scenic base to check context and perspective. Group includes: Enzo (by Trackpass), Hill, Stewart, Siffert and Clark (all by Denizen) – the Ferrari car is by Brum.

Wordpress seems to have difficulty in handling multi images on some posts so I’ve split them into separate posts – here’s some more images.

Siffert, Stewart, Hill, Clark and the “Commendatore” Enzo Ferrari – more or less completed. Skin tones, logos and shading all done – gloss coat on helmets etc – some little touch ups required – followed by a final matt varnish – more on the way.
The late Phil Hill (who sadly passed away in 2008 at the age of 81) was the first American to become F1 World Champion in 1961 is captured nicely in this miniature by Denizen – again based, undercoated and blocked in – so on with the detail painting!
A reflective pose captured nicely in this Denizen Miniature of Ayrton Senna – one of him wearing his most famous Marlboro garb (while at McLaren) and the other, his Rothmans outfit (in which he sadly perished at Imola) when at Williams GP –
They are WIP, so on with the detail painting!
I’ve added a bib from metal foil to this commercial casting from Denizen miniatures – I’ll give it another blast of primer and then get down to painting him in detail.
A tempestuous pairing in the McLaren camp which ended in tears in Japan in 1989.
The only man so far to conquer the world championship on both 2 and 4 wheels – maybe Valentino Rossi will be next??
A nice figure by Trackpass of a contemplative Enzo – undercoated, based and reday for the detail painting.
