IT’S ALWAYS A PLEASURE TO VISIT THE DONNINGTON MUSEUM IN THE UK .  THEY HAVE AN ABSOLUTELY SUPERB COLLECTION OF RACING CARS DATING FROM THE EARLY 1950′S RIGHT UP TO THE CURRENT MACINERY SUCH AS THE MCLAREN DRIVEN BY LEWIS HAMILTON IN 2007.  THE MUSEUM IS VERY ACCESSABLE BEING JUST OFF THE M1 MOTORWAY AND RIGHT BESIDE THE EAST MIDLANDS AIRPORT.

Skin tones, logos and shading all done – gloss coat on helmets etc – some little touch ups required – followed by a final matt varnish – more on the way.

]]> http://www.p-m-art.com/?feed=rss2&p=91 0 Plenty of figures WIP – a busy Easter week-end ahead! http://www.p-m-art.com/?p=80 http://www.p-m-art.com/?p=80#comments Tue, 30 Mar 2010 20:57:17 +0000 admin http://www.p-m-art.com/?p=80 I’ve just finished up converting / modifying some old 1/18 scale Minichamps figures with new paint scheme and new decals – just the helmets to tuch up and fix in place – nearly there!  I still have quite a number of Denizen figures well underway and I’m looking at adding them into some small dioramas with the driver-less 1/43rd scale Diecasts in the background.  Also there are a pair of 1/20 scale resin figures  of Schumacher and Hamilton which have yet to be undercoated – I’m also casting new arms for them in order to improve posture etc – So a busy Easter week-end ahead – and hopefully lots of Chocolate Easter Eggs!!  I also have a 1/18 Figure of Keke which needs some refurbishing an a new helmet!
