Graham Hill – Gold Leaf Team Lotus
One of the most iconic images of the 50’s / 60’s Motor Racing world was the face of Graham Hill – mustachieod with sideburns and slick backed long hair he always looked so relaxed and at ease and was synoymous with racing in the streets of Monaco and Lotus F1 cars painted red and white (Gold Leaf Team Lotus). Michael Schumacher Jordan 191 Spa Belgium 1991 -1/43 scale figure
I always liked the look of this particular figure from Denizen Miniatures. Like all the figures in the Denizen range they have wonderful anatomical proportions for tiny 43rd scale, so I plucked this one from my stock of primed and based figures this morning and decided that I would paint him up as Michael Schumacher in his 7up Jordan colours when he made his F1 debut back in 1991. Had he not been poached away by Flavio to the Benetton team, things might have worked out differently for EJ’s team…….bla bla … and if pigs could fly Continue reading “Michael Schumacher Jordan 191 Spa Belgium 1991 -1/43 scale figure”
Mini Helmets – 1/43 Denizen
These are a couple of driver helmets from the Denizen range in 1/43 scale I found lurking at the side of the bench – so I painted them up in some of the more recognizable liveries – ie Hill, Amon, Cevert (in the early days he didn’t put his name on the helmet!)
