The Donington Historic meeting last week-end (May 3- 5) offered up a wonderful mixture of nostalgic sights and sounds from a variety of Motor-sporting eras, but the highlight for me was seeing two cars from the Senna collection (Williams FW08C and Toleman Hart TG184-02) out on track being driven with not so much anger, more like sympathetic verve and spirit! – terrific stuff indeed. I’ve just finished up converting / modifying some old 1/18 scale Minichamps figures with new paint scheme and new decals – just the helmets to tuch up and fix in place – nearly there! I still have quite a number of Denizen figures well underway and I’m looking at adding them into some small dioramas with the driver-less 1/43rd scale Diecasts in the background. Also there are a pair of 1/20 scale resin figures of Schumacher and Hamilton which have yet to be undercoated – I’m also casting new arms for them in order to improve posture etc – So … Continue reading Plenty of figures WIP – a busy Easter week-end ahead!
