I recently started to catalogue my Diecast collection which is a mixture of road and race cars in various scales.  Starting with this one (a Shelby Cobra 427), I thought it would be an idea to feature each one in a posting on my Blog.  It’s a 1/18 scale racing version of one of the most iconic American muscle cars, the Shelby AC Cobra.  It features a cut down race screen (which I really like) together with sponsorship decals, full safety harness and race number.  The overall finish is superb, and the hood, trunk and doors all open to reveal the appropriate internals.  At some stage I’ll sculpt a 1/18 driver figure to pose beside it.
