After breaking his leg in June last year at Mugello, Valentino Rossi surprised everyone with his remarkably quick recovery 40 days later at the German round in the Sachsenring – so what was the secret behind his amazing recovery! We all know how fantastically resilient and determined an individual he is – I’m sure his mindset and focus were a key part of the recovery process but I’ve no doubt the medical care (and TLC) he received from the doctors and nurses had a lot to do with it!
My own take on it is merely meant to raise a smile (no offence intended to anyone) – so using a Legend 1/12 scale female figure called “Need for Speed” (which I happen to have lying around) I modified it slighty (with a nurses hat from Miliput) to represent a very “Hot and Speedy” nurse, and combined with a 1/12 scale Yamaha from Minichamps she looks ready to race to the side of anyone in need of assistance! I’ve given it a coat of primer so I’ll paint it up (not sure what colors yet) and I’ll include some appropriate Rossi decals I also happen to have to hand – more later.
