This is a Denizen casting which I’ve modified slightly to represent three time world champion (’81 & ’83 with Brabham and ’87 at Williams) Nelson Piquet.   I’ve added a hat and increased his hairline.   The diecast car is from Vitesse and as it comes with a rather crude figure, I’ll replace it with this one.   The trophy from the podium is a nice touch so I’ll keep it and attach it with a pin through his leg – (Ouch!). I had hoped to remove the Parmalat decals from the old figure and re-use them, however, they didn’t survive the surgery so I hand painted them instead – it’s never easy!  More later, Cheers,
