I’ve wanted to get one of these “F1 taxis” done in ’43rd scale for some time.  So using a pair of heavily modified Denizen metal figures (and a cheap RBA diecast) I tried to recreate the scene of Denny Hulme giving his boss Jack Brabham a lift back to the pits on the back of his BT24 during the German Grand Prix in 1967.  I used plenty of Milliput and metal wire, and as usual I painted them both up in Vallejo acrylics.    I really enjoyed making this piece and from some of the other famous “taxi” photo’s I’ve seen, I hope to do some more, Cheers for now,
