I’ve done some painting of the figure to ensure that it captures (in some way) a likeness of the character. Initially, I committed myself to just painting the face, but I got a bit carried away and before I knew it, I was detailing the tattoos on his arms – pure indulgence on my part, so not a total waste of time!   This figure will be used as the master for a limited number of castings in resin.  The painting process helped me identify a couple of areas that require filling for the purpose of producing good castings, so that will be the next stage.  The 911 Porsche is a conversion produced by Ebay member: “Fineelevencars” and I want to thank him for this superb piece of work.
