With the exception of the red part of the tartan, all the main colours are now blocked in. I simplified the pattern slightly (see the scrap paper under the figure) and used the same layout shown in the photo of Rubens car in my earlier post.  I avoided painting the red lines yet because the colour will deaden if painted straight onto blue.  So I’ve laid on a line of grey first to help support and liven up the red.  I’ll let this lot fully cure and finish it off in the next session.  In the meantime, I’ll give my eyes a well earned rest, Cheers,
