I modified and converted a couple of figures a while back, and my multi-talented friend; John Murphy has today delivered back the rubber molds he took from them – absolute beauties! Â As usual, he’s done a superb job capturing all that lovely rich detail. Continue reading “Carry on Casting!”
Once again I was using up some left-over Salmon Rose from painting the Cooper seat and my attention was drawn to this little Scalelink figure of Colin Chapman. Continue reading “Colin Chapman in 1/43rd”
As I imagined my photographer figure snapping happy at the top of Eau Rouge, I thought he should be perched on a scenic (grass) base given that he’s out in the countryside? Continue reading “Back to basics!!”

Continue reading “Alonso Helmet – from the “unhappy period” at McLaren!”
Another version of the Steve McQueen (AKA Michale Delaney figure) from the film Le Mans, this time in 1/24 scale – a metal casting from E.jan which I’ve just completed modifying to facilitate that famous shall we say; “Hand gesture”! … Continue reading The same “hand-signal” in a larger scale!
In an earlier post I started modifying two figures to reprise the famous McQueen “two fingered salute” from the film “LeMans” – so far I’ve finished the modifications to the 43rd scale version for his arms and hair-line – once … Continue reading The Le Mans “Two finger” salute – the message is clear!
