I had the good fortune last week-end to visit the Nuremberg Toy fair, (and in the process tick another item off my “bucket list”!). ……yes, I’ve finally finished painting the groundwork and grass on the (Spa) photographer so he’s ready to move on at last! Â As I had some black left over on my mixing palette, I used it up by giving the chrome suspension (and cockpit) of the Cooper Climax a wash and once dried, I’ll give it a dry-brushing of gunmetal and silver and pick out the detail in a more subtle way.
